She is an environmental activist, model and actress.

She is also a designer, she designs glasses and in 2015 she officially launched her PAWAKA line.

Of course Fahrani Empel (Fa') has traveled the world both for work and pleasure, but Berlin was inspirational for her creativity for the PAWAKA project.

They are bold and cheeky glasses, designed to transform symbolism and geometries into something wearable.

They are made in Italy using exclusively Mazzucchelli acetate sheets and Carl Zeiss sun lenses.

What does PAWAKA mean?

Fahrani's grandfather had a code name during World War II, a name that means fire in Sanskrit.

That name was PAWAKA.
